New Mum Discovery 18 SMA Formula Milk vs Hipp Organic Formula Milk

This is my personal experience.

SMA:
Negative: Collicky, farty, windy, vomity & uncomfortable baby. Smells awful. Stains clothes badly.
Positive:   Very easy to use container/tin with handy built in leveller.

Hipp Organic:
Positive: Organic. Cheaper. Better for baby. No collick or wind problems. Smells sweet. Doesn't stain clothes.
Negative: Comes in a cardboard box with sachets & no leveller. This keeps costs down but faffy to manage. Airtight milk storage tin can be bought on Hipp Organic Website.

New Mum Discovery 17: Baby Music Groups

Attended our first baby music group today. A lady with a puppet sang a song and gave every group member a baby maraca. My baby chewed her maraca and stared at my friends baby, who also chewed his maraca and stared at my baby. The lady sang several more songs. My baby chewed her maraca and stared at my friends baby, who also chewed his maraca and stared at my baby. The lady took back her maracas, both babies cried. The class ended.

New Mum Discovery 16: I sang to my babies hair yesterday.

The song went so:

Please baby hair, please please grow.
I so want my baby to wear this bow.
It hasnt worked yet but fingers crossed.

And then god made the VITAL UNBELIEVABOWL......it's fabulous! Highly recommend. A weaning must have! Absolutely STICKS to your table. (Also can be used for clumsy adults)

Four of Phina's bib lickin favourites...yes, she actually licks her bib when the dish is done lol.

Normal Porridge & Pureed pear

Anything BUT babyrice, she spits it right out and dont blame her, have you tasted it? Tastes like wallpaper paste...yuk!

Since weaning has begun my hubby and I are obsessed with the texture, colour and frequency of our babies poos. Just saying....

New Mum Discovery 12: Yummy mummy first attempt and fail!

I did try to be a glamorous mum this morning, well at least a fresh smelling one. I got up and actually managed to grab some time to soak in a hot bath. I put on some lovely oils, washed and conditioned my hair and slipped into an elegant frock. I then promptly got puked on thrice. First down my back, secondly in my cleavage and finally all over my face. So I gave up.
But, as Scarlet O"Hara would say: "Tomorrow is another day"

Hmmm....not sure why I'm quoting her, she was a terrible mother if I remember correctly and seemed to leave all the parenting to Rhett.
